Akshay Yoga is based on two principles of Human Mind:

(1) EXPLORING THE POWER OF MEDITATION TO ACHIEVE GOALS:

Our mind is so sensitive, sharp, and accurate that it can perceive up to the Depth of 1/4000th part of a pinpoint. Thus, mental toughness, like physical toughness, requires that you exercise.

(2) ATTRACTING POSITIVE ENERGY & RAISE YOUR VIBRATION:

Our minds can create energy where it concentrates. Meditation opens your eyes to see the higher purpose in everything Akshay Yoga will bring greater clarity, focus, and peacefulness.

Here are some of the major focus areas of performing Akshay Yoga:

DEEP BREATHING

Breathing influences the activities of each and every cell in the body and is linked to the performance of the brain. It is said that humans breathe about 15 times per minute, close to 21,600 times per day.
Each breath is intimately linked to all aspects of human experience.
Taking deep breathes decrease stress, relax your mind, body, and can help you sleep better.
Lie flat comfortably on your back and relax the muscles of your neck and shoulder. Rest your arm on each side of your body keep your fists closed.
Take deep breaths and try to make synchronization between your body and the breathing pattern.

FOCUS ON EPIGASTRIC REGION

The epigastric region (or the epigastrium) is the upper central region of the abdomen. It is located between the costal margins and the subcostal plane.
Breath training is an integral part of yoga and any kind of meditation. It is a refined means of creating a more balanced, healthy lifestyle. Practicing relaxed, diaphragmatic breathing is refreshing and restful and creates a sense of well-being so while performing Akshay Yoga it is important to focus on the Epigastric region. breath awareness is an integral self-management tool that is useful even during the busiest times of the day.

FOCUS ON UDDIYAN BANDHA

Uddiyana bandha, the abdominal lock, the breath is exhaled and the abdomen is sucked in toward the spine. Uddiyana Bandha needs to be done in the same inhaling position. Here Manipur Chakra is stimulated and energy is explored.

Uddiyana Bandha helps energy generation from this core. It boosts upward energy with the help of Moola Bandha.

PRACTICE MOOLA BANDHA

Mula bandha, in which muscles are tightly contracted at the center of the perineum and pelvic diaphragm is pulled inwards while slowly inhaling. This focused breathing and contraction of these muscles affect the system of internal energy.

Engaging your Moola bandha during your Akshay yoga practice allows your energy to flow up, not down and out, making it grow manifold and leaving you with that ‘floaty’ feeling.

STEPS TO FOLLOW DURING PERFORMING AKSHAY YOGA:

Step 1:

Slowly inhale deeply while keeping feet pointed outwards and fists closed.
Apply Moola Bandha (or pull pelvic diaphragm inwards). Focus on Uddiyan Bandh(abdominal lock)
While this keep on focusing on the epigastric region.

Step 2:

Slowly inhale to your maximum potential. Gently exhale and then relax all the Bandhas and open fists and keep your feet in a relaxed position.

Step 3:

Now Repeat the first step of taking a deep breath, point your feet inwards, and close your fist. Apply Moola Bandh and Uddiyan bandh while focusing on the Epigastric region.

Step 4:

Now exhale slowly, make sure that while inhaling and exhaling you don't produce any sound this process should be done in a very relaxed manner.
Repeat this 30 times
